Welcome to Forty fingers, Forty toes... and four furry paws.

Mike and I have been working hard to grow our family. It has been a tough journey for us but it has reminded us that things happen when they are supposed to and it is not always how we think we want it to happen.

After years of trying we moved on to IVF. We were very lucky that our 1st attempt with IVF in April brought our dreams and wishes to life. We knew we still had a ways to go but things were looking up!

About 32 weeks later Allison Ann and Andrew Stephen arrived early on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 around 9:00 beginning a new chapter of our lives.

This blog will follow this chapter of our lives as well as many other adventures!
